Developed by Bioware's Edmonton studio and published by Electronic Arts, Dragon Age: Origins is the first game in what will be a series of titles. Originally released in 2009, for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.This is a single-player role playing game (RPG) of vast scope and amazing quality. This is probably the best RPG game I've played since Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Not only is this game huge (be prepared to sink hours and hours into completing it) but it seems to wrap its arms around you and drag you into the game world as you become more and more involved and caring about your character and the events unfolding around you.
Decisions you make throughout the game and how you interact with people have real consequences to how the game unfolds and ultimately ends. As you progress through the game you'll meet several characters that can join your party and aid you in your fight to save Ferelden from the Blight.
Your party members can approve or disapprove of your actions. You can flirt with your companions and form relationships with them - even bed them, if you can find the time.
Graphics are of a high standard and the music and in-game audio are excellent. Dragon Age: Origins is an excellent game, a real 10/10.
Additional content (DLC) was made available and can be purchased via Xbox live including different side quests and storylines. For extra value for money you can purchase the Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition, which has the full game, and all DLC including the Awakenings Expansion pack .
You can buy Dragon Age: Origins new at a fraction of the release price, and it really is one of those must have games for any Xbox 360 owner.
