One of the biggest games of 2011, now available from many retailers at a knock-down price.

This three-disc graphical extravaganza puts you in the role of a somewhat flawed LAPD detective and is set in Los Angeles in 1947. The war is over, the city is expanding, and people are readjusting to life in peacetime.

Developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar, this isn't Grand Theft Auto set in the 1940s. It is a crime solving game that will shock you with its graphical prowess and depth. Through the game you'll need to solve a wide range of crimes but there is a lot more to this game. From the twists in the main storyline to answering calls from the police dispatcher to respond to robberies, shoot-outs and more.

The game isn't perfect but then fighting crime isn't perfect either. In one of the main plots I soon sussed out who the real murderer was but the game plodded through the story and I had to go through the motions interrogating and jailing suspects until the game revealed its latest twist and the real murderer showed his hand.

I can't recommend this game enough. It is unique in its brilliance and I purchased my game new for £10 from Amazon. Prices may vary but you should have no problem picking up this great title for under £15.
